30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 26 Christmas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in my mind and it’s my favorite time of the year. I am so thankful for Christmas!!!! Can you see my excitement!?!?! ;)

I’m thankful that it’s a day we get to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. His birth brought great joy to the world. Shepherds, wise men, and angels all shared in the excitement of knowing about this great event. They knew this was no ordinary baby. It’s a beautiful holiday with a wonderful meaning.

I’m thankful for the time that I get to spend with my family and friends over Christmas as well.

There’s always yummy food, great music, lots of get togethers, shopping, wrapping presents, decorating, Christmas movies….the list goes on. J

I hope that as you prepare for Christmas over the next month you share with your kiddos the real meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate such a special day.
