Gender Reveal Party

This was the first gender reveal party I've thrown and hopefully not my last. Well, my last for me, but hopefully not my last for friends and those who ask me to plan a party.

It was simple, fun, and didn't cost a lot at all. Cheap is always better for me. ;)

Like I said in my previous post I try to decorate around the centerpiece and my centerpiece of choice is always a cake. I have the most talented friend who owns Small Town Cakes and does an amazing job every time.

The table was set up with a few varieties of sweet treats. To dress up the table around the cake I did pink and blue Jone's Soda, then used a Sharpie to color the "HE" and "SHE" on a Hershey bar, and then dipped pretzel rods in white chocolate and covered them in blue and pink sprinkles.

I was able to pick up a table cover, plates, napkins, forks, and spoons at the Dollar Tree {score}. I always get balloons from the wonderful people at Lily's Party/The Paper Depot. The "He or She" banner I had made through A Pretty Little Party (if anyone wants the PDF for the banner let me know).

The "He or She" box banner I made myself. I am not an artist, but I made an attempt and I was pretty proud of the way it turned out. I just got a large piece of black construction paper and used chalk to make the banner.

All photos were done by my wonderful neighbor and friend from Jessica Lynn Photography.

That's it. Quick, simple, tasteful, and fun!

For any of you who need help planning a gender reveal party let me know. I'm happy to help!

xoxo,
Krista
