30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 29 My Son

He’s a little over 2 feet tall, he’s got gorgeous blue eyes, he’s got the cutest little belly laugh, he’s so polite, he’s got the most precious smile, he’s got a cute yet ornery personality, and he’s stolen my heart. He’s my little miracle; my son.

I’m thankful to be a mother, but I’m even more thankful that Mason is my son. He is absolutely one of the greatest gifts the Lord has ever blessed me with.

He’s so full of spunk and personality! Each day he grows more and more into the cutest little man any mom could ask for.

He’s stubborn and independent yet sensitive and loving. He’s got a little bit of mama and a little bit of daddy; a great combination.

My day begins and ends with that little man in my arms and I couldn't be more thankful for his sweet heart.

There are days when he tries my patience, as any little munchkin close to age 2 would do, but even when he’s throwing a tantrum I can’t help but want to kiss those cheeks. ;)

I’m so excited to see where life takes this little guy I get to call my own.

Before he was born, I wrote him a little love letter that you can read here. I’m looking forward to the day when I can read him that letter and he understands just how much he means to me.

“I love you so much Mason Jordan Kerns. You have made my heart so much happier than I ever thought it could be. I will cherish each moment that we share as mother and son. You are my precious baby boy and always will be. I pray you know just how much you mean to me.

I can’t imagine my life without him. He’s given me so much more joy in life than I could ever have imagined.

xoxo,
Krista
